Tiny By Taylor have a process in place so that you can achieve your tiny home dreams with ease. We want you to enjoy your new tiny house lifestyle and the journey along the way. We work with you through a process customised to suit your needs. whether it’s an in person viewing at our Wairarapa workshop or a Virtual tour, we have you covered.
You can choose one of our original builds or get creative with a bespoke design. From planning through to pick up or delivery we are with you every step of the way.
7 Step Guide To Your Dream Tiny House
1. View Our Shaka Shack
You're looking for a high quality, bespoke Tiny House that looks the part. You've come to the right place! View our Shaka Shack showhome in Martinborough or we can take you on a virtual tour via video call.
2. Book a Design Consultation
Choose and customise one of our original plans or start from scratch and we will work with you to design something truly unique and beautiful. For a custom design, pay a $1,000 design deposit which will come off the final cost of your Tiny House if you go ahead with the build.
Let's get creative! Fill out our design brief template. Share your Pinterest board with us and any ideas, photos and research you have collected. We will collate all the information and design your dream tiny home. You can be as involved as you like. Work with us every step of the way or leave it all up to us.3. Finalise plan and provide quote
Once a final design is agreed on we will price it up and provide you with a quote. Accept the quote or make any necessary adjustments to suit.
4. Signing of contract and pay deposit
Sign the build contract which will include the quote, specifications, completion date and terms of trade. 30% deposit is required at signing of the contract.
5. Construction commences
The build gets underway at the agreed start date. We welcome you to view the build process at various stages by booking an appointment. If you don't live nearby we will keep you updated throughout the process via video calls. Two more progress payments of 30% are required throughout the build process.
6. Enjoy Your Tiny House Lifestyle!
Voila! Your dream Tiny House is complete and all yours! We will have your Tiny House cleaned and photographed to feature on our website and Social Media. Your final 10% payment is required prior to pick-up or delivery.
7. 1 Year Quality Guarantee
You're covered by our 1 year workmanship guarantee plus any materials and appliance warranties as outlined by the manufacturers. Guarantees and warranties do not cover any damage associated with the transportation or movement of the Tiny House on wheels.
